Appreciating our Veterans

We have been deeply involved in the assistance and recognition of our deservedly honorable veterans with our local veteran’s home residence, Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home. In our humble efforts we have provided visits of a social nature. We have recognized our veterans with handmade Valentine’s Day cards created by our members. We have an ongoing effort to provide everyday personal items to make life more comfortable. This includes toothpaste, mouthwash, and other items of everyday essential needs. Many members of our chapter have lent their skilled hands to crochet our veterans lapghan throws to keep them warm in both heart and body. It is important to our chapter that our veterans are not forgotten and are continuously appreciated.
